Friends of Elephants
The good news is that we're not alone in this effort to reduce and eliminate cruelty to elephants. There are several organizations focused on helping elephants in various ways.
There are initiatives to restore elephants' habitats, help villagers live amicably with wild elephants, identify and build elephant corridors for safe traveling, etc.
These initiatives are driven by both government organizations (local/central) and by dedicated NGOs.
